Following Southern Company's presentation, Blueprint will provide a brief product overview focused on highlighting Blueprint's requirement definition and management capabilities in support of Southern Company's case study.
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Keith Barrett: Keith is a 20-year veteran of the software development industry. He currently works at Blueprint Systems as Sr. Sales Engineer.His background in software development, reuse, and requirements development and management uniquely positions him as a leading industry advocate for Business Analysis best practices.
Keith’s 10 years in large corporate IT coupled with 10 years of requirement consulting enables him to address the combined technical, cultural, and process-related aspects faced by Business Analysts today.

Faith Walker: Faith Walker serves as the Supervisor in the Requirements Center of Excellence for Southern Company, within the Application Services function of IT.
Her responsibilities include assisting and providing day-to-day oversight to a team of five Requirements Analysts who provide scoping, business, functional and non-functional requirements elicitation services. She also assists and supports the Requirements COE Manager with setting the strategic direction and goals of the organization.
Faith started her career at Southern Company in 1999 as an Intern in the Internal Auditing department. In 2001 she was hired on full-time and spent the first 18-months in the Professional Development Program, where she rotated around different parts of the business, before landing full time in IT as an IT Security Analyst.Since that time, Faith has held several roles of increasing responsibility, including IT Project Manager, Technical Consultant, working directly for the AS Director and her current role of IT Supervisor.
Faith is also an active member of several Southern Company professional organizations, including the PEER Affinity Group, the Georgia Power chapter of Toastmasters, Women in Business & Technology and the African American Women Networking Group (AAWNG).Faith has held several leadership roles within these organizations, including President, Chair and Co-chair. Externally, Faith has been involved in various community service activities, including Hands on Atlanta, Habitat for Humanity and mentoring at various Atlanta area schools.
Faith holds a Bachelor of Science from Oglethorpe University.In 2011 she earned her Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) certification.

Todd Spinello: Todd Spinello serves as manager of the Requirements Center of Excellence for Southern Company, where he is responsible for the strategic direction and daily operations of requirements elicitation services within the Application Services arm of IT.In this role, Spinello is responsible for the quality of requirements elicitation services as well as requirements elicitation best practices company wide.
His responsibilities include defining, communicating and accomplishing strategies and goals within the Center of Excellence organization, which is comprised of fifteen business analysts and contractors.The team provides scoping services, as well as business, functional, and non-functional requirements elicitation services.
Spinello joined Southern Company in 2006.He has over twenty years of IT experience supporting the telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and utility industries.He began his career as a computer programmer for AT&T and has since held roles ranging from database administrator to management consultant and team manager.Before joining Southern Company, Spinello most recently served as manager of a custom development team at Dendrite (formerly Strategic Technologies).
Spinello holds an MBA from Emory University, a BA in Cognitive Science and Computer Science from Lehigh University, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.In 2010, he earned his Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) certification.
